It’s a privilege to hear from Albertans like you. However cancer has touched your life, your experience matters — and if you’re ready to share it, your story could help others feel less alone and shed light on the research, clinical trials and programs changing what’s possible in Alberta.
Not at all. We’re not looking for silver linings or happy endings. We’re looking for honest ones, wherever you are in your journey.
No. Just share a few sentences about your experience to get started. If we’re interested in featuring your story, we’ll set up an initial conversation to get to know you better, then work together to determine how to share your story.
You can. Nothing is shared without your approval, and you can step back at any point, no explanation needed.
As a fundraising organization, we share stories to raise awareness of our organization, demonstrate impact and inspire giving. We will always be clear when we are interested in featuring a story in a fundraising or marketing campaign.
Absolutely. If you’re a caregiver, family member or have lost someone to cancer, your experience matters too and you’re always welcome to share.
